Instructions:

1. Insert 4 1.5V alkaline AA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment.
2. Turn the power switch to the “On” position.
3. Allow the iron to heat up for about 7 seconds.
4. Apply solder to the tip of the iron.
5. Touch the hot tip to the solder joint to melt the solder.
6. Once the solder has melted, remove the iron from the joint.
7. Turn the power switch to the “Off” position.

Cautions:

• Use carefully. The tip is extremely hot during use. Avoid contact with hands, skin and other objects.
• Use only in well ventilated areas.
• Hot irons can cause severe burns. Do not touch the heated tip or knurled nut.
• Not a toy. Store out of the reach of children.
• Always be sure the unit is cool before storing.
• Do not replace cap without switching unit off and ensuring tip has cooled.
• Do not attempt to readjust or repair. Unit is not user serviceable.
• When replacing batteries, replace all of the batteries with the correct type.
• Do not mix new batteries with used batteries or batteries of a different type.
• Be sure to insert batteries properly (+/-).
• Be sure to remove the batteries before storing the unit.
